About
Build Your Cyberdeck. Meet Your People.
System Manifesto
What is cyberdecks.org?
cyberdecks.org is a decentralized collective for hardware hackers, rig-builders, and netrunners. We salvage dead tech and forge it into custom cyberdecks. We are part encrypted wiki, part underground forum, part build showcase — built by and for women, femmes, queer folk, and outcasts who know the corporate "maker space" was never designed for us.
The grid has always had its elite builders. What it lacked was a safehouse where a first-timer wiring a Raspberry Pi into a thrifted compact feels as respected as a veteran iterating on their tenth Pelican-case mainframe. That’s the protocol we’re rewriting.
The Collective
Our node includes builders of all skill levels, from those who picked up a soldering iron last week to veterans who have been pushing hardware to its absolute limits for years.
- Initiates — Flashing their first custom ROM and wiring their first rig.
- Veteran Makers — Refining their craft, optimizing power draw, and iterating on complex setups.
- Hardware Hackers — Soldering, bypassing, and debugging silicon at the component level.
- Code Weavers — Writing custom OS configurations, kiosk-mode lockdowns, and bespoke applications.
- Chassis Architects — Designing enclosures and interfaces that are as lethal and beautiful as they are functional.
Whether you intercepted our signal from the 2026 social feeds or you’ve been lurking in the shadows of r/cyberDeck for years — your node is active. You belong here.
How to Jack In
📖 Access the Archives (Wiki)
New to the build? The archives hold schematics covering everything from sourcing micro-controllers to scavenging the perfect chassis. Start your initiation at Your First Cyberdeck: Initiation Protocol.
💬 Tap into the Network (Forum)
Questions? Progress reports? The forum is the channel where the real comms happen. Broadcast your presence and say hello in Introductions.
🛠️ Log Your Build
Forged something new? The Builds sector is for showcasing your schematics, your critical failures, your "oh no" moments, and your final rig. Every logged build upgrades the collective knowledge base.
📅 Sync at Meetups
We run regular virtual syncs and occasional IRL gatherings. A vital way to trade knowledge, get eyes on your prototype, and link up with the collective.

Keep the Servers Running
cyberdecks.org is maintained by the collective. If you want to keep the lights on and the servers humming, consider fueling the operation.
System Specs
cyberdecks.org is an open-source collective node built with Astro 6, Drizzle ORM, Better Auth, Cloudflare Pages, and a whole lot of caffeine. The source code is open on GitHub.
Our UI protocol is high-contrast cyberpunk: neon on black. Clean, readable, and built for long sessions in the dark. Because the future belongs to everyone, and terminals shouldn't look like corporate pastel brochures.
